Just a quick Teaching Tuesday post. The entire Teaching Thursday staff was thrilled when the post, “The Cost of Cheap Education” by Anne Kelsch and John Tagg was linked to from this New York Times article. I am frequently asked whether anyone actually reads Teaching Thursday. I can now say with even more confidence, yes!
This Thursday we will have a post by Assistant Provost Joan Hawthorne who will write about a recent cover story in Newsweek entitled “The Three Year Solution” and written by the former President of the University of Tennessee and Secretary of Education Lamar Alexander.
